Perhaps not everyone comes here because they do not have any friend at all in their real lives but because we live in times where we could all do with as many genuine friendships as we can make.
I believe I would be termed young, however, believe me when I say I am quite old at heart. I discovered this penpal site at a very early age. At a time I even hated myself. My life. I would not say there are any drastic changes but I am more accepting of circumstances now.
At an earlier age, I found reading and most especially writing as my safe haven. This has helped me get through so many difficult moments in my life. It is my dream to one day change the world. This seems a little far-fetched though. But I have always told myself, if I cannot achieve my dream of changing the world, at least I could start making little changes in my own little part of the world. That's still changing the world, right?
I have made and lost friends on here but mostly each had helped me get through the phase of my life they were present in. So I guess that is why I am quite addicted to 'Penpalship'.
There is not much I could say about myself on here. Just know I'm a real person with a real life, who obviously has a lot of things to complain or be sad about but also moments to be grateful for.
I love getting into deep and respectful conversations. Talk about life, cultures and our different ways of life that yet still keep us connected.
I am open to people of all ages. I may be boring to some and interesting to others but either way, shoot!
