Hello!
I am a theoretical physicist who spends most of his time studying complex systems. I'm a few months away from finishing off my PhD and I intend on carrying on in an academic career. Tangential to my interests in science is my interest in computing. I enjoy programming and I think that computer science is an profoundly interesting field.
Outside of my scientific work, my interests are in literature and music. I'm not picky in genres, but I very much enjoy science-fiction and classic literature. I read a lot of non-fiction too. As for music, I play the guitar and typically gravitate to jazz and classical music, although I've gone down a number of rabbit holes. One of my great passions is rock climbing and it is something I spend quite a lot of time doing.
I think you'd get along with me if you're looking for reasonably deep and involved conversation. I don't mean that I need you to be a brilliant scientist capable of exposition, I'm happy to discuss basically anything you could think of. However, analysis and the sharing of personal insight? That would be great.
The letters between Albert Einstein and Max Born were so deep that the ideas propounded in those papers formed significant themes in the history of modern physics. Maybe people in the futures will read our letters and be inspired by them. Or maybe not. But that's okay! At the very least? I'd just be happy to get to know you. So please, reach out! :) |
