I like a great deal of many things but I've found that I've had the most success with people I don't share any hobbies with, beyond writing to strangers of course. You should be wordy and by that, I mean a whole letters worth of writing in a sitting and not just 2 lines in an email asking me how I am and what are my hobbies.
If you're wordy and can have fun with it, then you're my sort of person. Whatever else they may say about me, I will at least be entertaining for a little while and if we're lucky, there'll be some quality banter thrown in.
