I've long been intrigued by the idea of getting to know someone through a correspondence, exchanging emails, talking about everything and nothing. I enjoy writing, so it would be lovely to build a lasting friendship with someone who is able to be open and honest and is looking for the same. I'm not looking for romance, but I hope to make a genuine connection with someone.
I'm well read and deeply interested in the world around me. I'm fascinated by history, and I like reading and learning about people and places. I love biographies and memoirs, letters and diaries, because I enjoy getting a glimpse into someone's life, seeing how they think, and how they deal with themselves and the world.
I like being outdoors. I enjoy the quiet of nature and the gentle rhythm of a long walk. Music provides a comforting background to my days. I have a particular love for jazz and folk music of all stripes.
I'm a single mum and I genuinely enjoy being a parent. I'm not religious, but I respect everyone's right to their beliefs as long as those beliefs aren't bigoted.
